Indigo 13oz Selvedge Denim Trucker Jacket

This season we’ve updated our classic ‘Trucker’ style with a few signature UW twists. Inspired by original denim workwear jackets of the early 20th century, this contemporary version features two large square chest pockets, a looser body for comfort and ease of movement, and two subtle angled hand-warmer pockets. A classic denim jacket updated for today.

Made in a vintage style from 13oz narrow loom red selvedge denim, this fabric goes through a slow process similar to American denim in the last century. A 3/1 twill weave, it has an indigo-dyed yarn over undyed natural yarn, creating a rigid texture that will soften with wear and use. When washed, the garment will stretch to the wearer's shape. Over time the fabric will develop a unique patina.

This garment is dyed with indigo. Take care as some colour transfer may occur when worn close to lighter-coloured garments and furniture. Like your favourite jeans, this garment will gradually fade with wear. Wash separately.
